Description
ME Primer is a premium, single pack, epoxy modified etch primer formulated to provide excellent adhesion to most ferrous and non-ferrous metals including galvanised steel and aluminium.
Uses
It is recommended as an etch primer for mild steel, aluminium, galvanised iron & steel, copper and brass.
*Note: Carry out test patches before general use.

Coverage/Yield
Coverage rate varies depending upon type, condition, porosity, texture of the surface and application technique.
- Theoretical coverage is 10m² per Litre to give a 10-micron thick coating.
- For non-ferrous-metal ensure that the dry film thickness is greater than 10 microns.
Curing
Drying and curing of the product is affected by type, dryness and porosity of the surface, temperature, humidity, ventilation, climate conditions and application technique and therefore drying and curing can only be given as a guide.
Generally:
- Touch Dry: 5 – 10 minutes.
- Re-coat: 10 – 30 minutes.
- Hard Dry: 30 minutes.
Shelf Life
12 months in unopened containers.
Storage
Store in cool, dry area away from heat sources. Product is flammable. Dangerous goods Class: 3.2. Flash Point 30°C. UN 1263 PG111.
Keep containers tightly closed when not in use. Keep away from corrosive materials.
